Know your Core Workshop with Joelle
Our “core” is a coordinated system of muscles which help keep our body stable as we move.
Our core works all day, every day! But is it working optimally? If you have any pain, ANYWHERE, if you’ve had any injuries to the back, hip, knee, ankle, or shoulder...if you’ve been through a pregnancy and delivery, then the answer is NO and this workshop is for you
If you’ve heard “turn on your core”, “tighten your abs”, “squeeze your pee muscles” and have no idea what that means or if you’re doing it correctly, then this workshop is for you
If you exercise, do yoga, pilates, HIIT, run, cycle, swim, move your body in any way then this workshop is for you
The goal of this workshop is to help you gain a better understanding of what “the core” is, how to consciously activate it and train the core with take-home exercises you can do daily to optimize your core and prevent injuries related to core weakness.
