About the training

Translated as the beloved Song of the Beloved, the Gita's power, poetry and wisdom has had an enormous influence on millions of change makers, truth seekers worldwide and the beauty of it's message has inspired all who have been blessed to come in contact with it's mysterious power: From Gandhi, who referred to the Gita as his mother to T.S. Eliot, Emerson and Thoreau who remarked, "In the morning I bathe my intellect in the stupendous and cosmogonal philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita, in comparison with which our modern world and its literature seem puny and trivial.”

The Gita has the power to arouse the cosmic warrior within us all to fight our own inner and the outer battles that are upon us with courage and devotion. Armed with the knowledge of all the paths of yoga and guided by our charioteer Sri Krishna, the power of Love within us all.

The Bhagavad Gita tells the story of how Arjuna, a great warrior who is about to engage in battle between the forces of dark and light, in doubt and despair, gives up. It is then, that his friend, Sri Krishna, God incarnate comes to counsel him....this timeless internal human battle is brought to life in full color through Arjuna who  represents  the human soul seated in the chariot of the body and Krishna, the Divine within who is always there to unite with through our practices of Yoga.

As Spiritual Warriors, we have to fight for justice, freedom and the authenticity of Self and diversity in community as Arjuna is to even kill his own kinsmen because he was born to be a warrior. This represents destroying all our destructive, habitual patterns that we cling to that create so much suffering in our precious, beautiful lives and lives of others and our planet as well as systemic oppression and injustice.  Our most powerful weapon? Our Practice, detachment, surrender and LOVE! Performing every action, not only the many paths of Yoga that Krishna teaches, as worship. Devotion as the highest purification and austerity and realizing our own Dharma in how each one of us can be of service to the world in our own way.

This intensive with be broken down into 5, 5 Hour days and will revolve around some of the major themes of The Gita and 7 major Cakras:

Day 1- Muladhara, Svadhistana and Dharma: Our body as the cosmic battlefield. Defining Arjuna, Krishna the Pandavas and Kauravas within.  Our personal calling and purpose - A focus on honoring and invoking our unique purpose through warrior and standing poses, and learning to move like our authentic selves through creative standing pose sequencing.

Day 2. Manipura and Karma Yoga: Self Transcendent Action - A focus on cultivating confidence and courage in who we are and sequencing for arm balances and inversions letting go of the ego and attachment to results.

Day 3 Anahata and Bhakti Yoga- The Path of Love and Devotion - Action as offering. A focus on sequencing for cultivating love and devotion through heart opening back bends.

Day 4 Vishudha - The infinite expression of divine incarnations- Bowing to the divine within and in all beings with forward bends and sage poses.

Day 5. Ajna/Sahasrara - Meditation and Shradha- Listening to the inner guru through meditation and Developing faith in a higher purpose our destiny through teaching your own classes in service of the greater good!

Through Asana, Pranayama, Mudra and Mantra along with journaling and personal inquiry, group discussion and teaching, habit exploration and reforming we will invoke personal change and action, transforming our inner dialogue and outer practices. Together we will create a safe and brave space to look at exploring deeply rooted conditioning about who we are, outlining practical ways in which we can use our practice and teaching to create inner and outer change. Through exploring yogic concepts and tradition, this intersection challenges us to look deeper into both the universality of the human experience as well as its important differences. Through compassionate awareness of both our unity and our separateness can lead to greater equity and justice in our world.

Yoga and meditation are often perceived as solely internal, individual practices. Yet these practices can also be undertaken to promote positive social and personal developments that benefit the greater community. The concern for the world and its people is essential to the practice of Yoga and historically, Yoga and meditation have been instrumental in facilitating social and environmental change.

One of the standout qualities of the beloved practice we have come to know and love as Lotus Flow TM is how balanced and complete one feels through the devotion, dance and discipline of Lotus sequencing. This is because of the graceful and conscious movement through the 7 fold cakra system, the ancient healing system and bridge between our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual selves .

This sequencing is known as Vinyasa Krama, which means " wise progression " where each asana is a preparation for the next, as each chakra's opening prepares for the next level of consciousness. As we nourish each part of ourselves from root to crown, with breath, movement and intention, we awaken to our spiritual anatomy through our physical anatomy and unlock and unblock our creative potential and heal and transform . Join us on this journey of discovery and self-exploration that balances every part of our selves and our lives and integrates mind, body and spirit to help us live and love more fully. Perfect for yogis of any level ready to deepen their practice and yoga teachers looking for inspiration and wanting to share this enlivened and transformative practice with their students and wants to experience more meaning, depth, joy, and freedom through their practice of yoga.

Yes if you are a yoga teacher and have completed 200 hour yoga teacher training or higher and you are interested in teaching Yin Yoga and furthering your education.

Yes if you are not a yoga teacher but have a solid grounding in the practice of Yin Yoga (over 1 years consistent practice) and would like to deepen your understanding of the practice.

What is Yin?

Yin Yoga is a quiet, receptive practice designed to bring fluidity and flexibility to the physical body, a sense of calm, kindness and resilience to the mental and emotional body and increased awareness and health for the energetic body.

About Clare

Yin Yoga is an incredibly powerful practice. I have seen huge shifts within myself and my students on a very deep level. One of the most powerful teachings within Yin Yoga is learning how to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. During the long held, passive postures we learn how to look within, with compassion and acceptance at all parts of ourselves, both the shadow and the light. This takes huge patience, strength and courage and by practising regularly we become very kind, compassionate, patient and resilient. The practice of yin yoga begins in stillness on the mat. We start by going inwards. When we become adept at viewing ourselves in this kind and objective way we start to realise the interconnectedness of all humans and all life on earth as well as our interconnectedness to the planet itself.

When we see struggle and suffering within ourselves we become tolerant of others because we understand the human condition. The more able and willing we are to make peace within, the more able and willing we are to spread peace outside of ourselves. Yin yoga is the silent revolution that will change the world

Clare has been teaching yoga since 2014 and holds a deep integrity and authenticity. She lives and breathes the practice of yoga. Clare founded Soul Tribe Studio in 2018.

About the course

Are you ready to become your most authentic, loving, peaceful, enthusiastic self? Our 200 hour Hatha Vinyasa teacher training program is an immersion into the science, philosophy, bodywork, movement, breath, self-study and life long learning of yoga.

Prepare for 4 months of transformational learning that will change your life. This course is a journey back to yourself. This course has been designed for those who want to teach yoga professionally, as well as those who wish to deepen their understanding & personal practice. It doesn’t matter if teaching yoga is the end goal or not. Let go of the outcome, your intention is what is important.

The word Yoga means Union. This training encourages you to re-connect, to unite with yourself, with the world around you, with your fellow humans and with universal consciousness in a tangible and authentic way. The yogic path creates a vehicle for self-transformation and insight through heart based learning, intuition, mind training and interpersonal relationships.

We recommend at least 6 months of regular, dedicated practice to commence this training. Course applications will be considered on a case by case basis. Experience in terms of advanced asana practice is NOT important. You are not required to ‘perform’ any particular asanas (it doesn’t matter if you can’t stand on your head) - your level of strength and flexibility does not matter. What is important is your willingness to step out of your comfort zone and lean in to challenge with an open heart and a tenacity and passion for learning. Course numbers are limited for a small intimate group setting for maximum learning and support.

All 200 hour students receive a free unlimited membership to all classes for the duration of the training. This training is registered with Yoga Alliance International.

About Clare

Fundamentally I believe in love. I believe that humans are inherently loving, compassionate, generous and kind. I know that we all have the capacity to open our bodies, minds and hearts and live joyfully. My intention is to facilitate a space where others can be free and learn to fall in love with themselves, each other and the earth.

From an early age I have been fascinated by movement, play and the magic of the natural world. I love people and the earth and this love drives everything I do. My journey took me to the East Coast of Australia where I started practicing yoga. I felt my spirit return through sacred movement, breath and meditation. I realised that what I’d been searching for was inside me and I learnt the tools to connect with my own heart. I spent time immersing myself in the beauty of my surroundings, lounging in rivers, climbing mountains and falling asleep under the burning milky way. I fell back in love with the earth.

My passion for yoga grew as I started to understand that yoga isn’t something that we ‘do’ with our bodies, it is our natural state that we ‘are’. Yoga is simply a coming home, a journey back to ourselves. Through the practices of asana, philosophy and meditation I have realised the true nature of impermanence and understand that we do not ‘own’ anything. I know that my thoughts are real but not necessarily true. I have experienced the magic that happens when I think, act and speak from a place of love and trust. I believe in the power of the Earth. I believe that by living with respect, love and humility we can create a more peaceful world.

After a few years of dedicated practice, I completed my 200 hour teacher training under the guidance of master teacher Mathew Bergan at Dancing Warrior Yoga in Sydney in 2014. I fell in love with teaching immediately and even though the training was extremely challenging, I knew I had finally found my calling. I continued to train at Dancing Warrior Yoga for the next 4 years. I started teaching in 2014 and have dedicated my life to full-time teaching since then. I completed my 60 hour Yin teacher training with Sarah Powers in 2015 which changed my life and my practice completely. The practice of Yin, Tibetan Buddhist philosophy and mindfulness meditation gave me the tools to develop an inner ‘genuine happiness’ that was not dependent on other people or external situations.’ I have taught at many major studios in Sydney as well as teaching yoga and mindfulness to organisations such as UNICEF and ABC Broadcasting. In 2018 I started Soul Tribe Studio and have been teaching classes, workshops and running teacher trainings here in Batemans Bay since then.  I have been facilitating teacher trainings for over 6 years.

FAQ’s

I’m not able to do all of the yoga postures - does that matter?

Absolutely not. This is about the heart of yoga, the philosophy, the meditation, the way you live your life. The postures aren’t important, but over the 4 months you will find a lot more space and strength in body, heart and mind.

I dont want to teach yoga, will I still benefit from the course?

Yes definitely. Most people who take their training at Soul Tribe dont have the intention to teach yoga. This is a self development course that allows you to live in the most authentic way and will enhance everything else you’re doing in your life.

I do want to teach! Is it for me?

YES! They say the best way to master a skill is to teach it. I guide you to step out of your comfort zone and start teaching from the very first week. The skills you learn here transfer across every part of your life. You will learn how to teach in a very skilled way. A lot of our former students now teach at Soul Tribe :)

I cant make all the weekends. What happens?

You can live stream and I’ll record the session. Ideally you’re here in person for all weekends, but there are catch up sessions we can arrange if needed. There’s an online learning platform as a compliment to the course. You get lifetime access to this.

Will I be registered to teach yoga on completion of the course?

Yes! You can teach anywhere in the world. You will need an up to date First Aid certificate and public liability insurance to teach.

Location.

How much is the course? Is there a payment plan?

$4990 earlybird (paid in full by 30th June)

$5555 after June 30th and payment plan

Payment plan - monthly payments of $1000 (can spread it out over longer if needed, will arrange on a case by case basis)

Will I be registered to teach yoga on completion of the course?

Yes! You can teach anywhere in the world. You will need an up to date First Aid certificate and public liability insurance to teach.

“Alchemy”- A Deep Exploration of Yoga Philosophy, Pranayama & Mantra with Rachel Nokes from 'Ray of Light'

Held over seven incredible months, this training is for you if you are looking to expand your knowledge of yoga beyond asana.

This training focuses on the lesser trodden path of a multidimensional practice that will ripple through all layers of your being, going beyond the body, to the breath and beyond to the mind and into deeper layers of the Self. You’ll be guided in an intimate, safe and supportive environment where creativity, professionalism and leadership are nourished.

Strengthen your faith and commitment through practice, community and enquiry.

On this course you’ll receive coaching and practical experience to hold space for others. To do so requires that you also experience being held, so during our time together, you’ll spend precious time in a circle with others, providing opportunities for growth and reflection. As we walk the path together inviting curiosity around our limiting beliefs, we will also celebrate the brilliance of who we already are.

Dharma – The courage to be seen and shine.

The ancient teachings offer us an incredibly powerful map to understand our internal landscape. Through the study of the ancient texts, we can empower ourselves to manifest our full potential (dharma). Our intention is that you will be inspired to learn and share in a modern and uplifting way. We value diversity, and life as a great teacher and we embody trauma-informed principles in order to create a safe space for your transformation and integration.

More Information about what you will learn:

MODULE 1
Pañchamaya model

A deep exploration into the Pañchamaya model also known as the pañcamaya kośa. A journey through the inner temple via experiential enquiry, chanting & deep practices that have a breath centric focus. The practices and lectures will support you in gaining a deeper
understanding of what makes up your entire being and experience your true essence nature. Awakening to our true nature is integral to the energy of life and instrumental to its unfolding for us, and our students.

This way of seeing ourselves is an imperative component of “advanced yoga”. Rather than an external expression which is of course beautiful, our focus on this training is supporting ourselves and our students' involution including and yet beyond mastery of āsana. You will learn a meditation sequence informed by this view that supports the mind- moving from the outside to the inside and beyond.

MODULE 2
Vinyāsa Krama- intelligent steps towards a goal in practice and teaching.

The word Vinyāsa means – intelligent placement here you will learn the specifics of placing the body, breath & attention in an intelligent sequence.

Discover and refresh your understanding of the theory and practice of yogic techniques from classical Yoga. Substantial emphasis will be given to both the theory and guided practice within the Krishnamacharya lineage, in which we learn the application and function of these tools. We will reflect what it is we do in Yoga & when and why we do it that way.

This module will increase your understanding of the energetic application of the tools of yoga and how to use them to enliven, calm or balance our system depending on the students, time of day etc leading us to prioritise function over form.

MODULE 3
Sanskrit

This fun module will inspire you to keep the Sanskrit language alive for yourself and your students. Revise your connection, and raise your vibration with the sacred language of Yoga. You will learn to chant the vowels that symbolise the twelves phases of the moon and the consonants as a personal practice. Gain a deeper understanding of the importance of specificity, including mouth positions and aspiration.

In this module you will learn to read transliterated Sanskrit, this will support our journey into Patañajali's Yoga Sutras and our chanting module.

Accurate chanting is a journey- let it begin!

As a creative experience you will also learn to write the alphabet in the beautiful script devanagari, as meditative practice for your own nourishment.

MODULE 4
The Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali as the mirror

Enjoy the stories and symbolism associated with this text. We will chant and unpack important sūtras that support our undering of what yoga is and, what obstructs this inner state. Our wish is this module will increase your curiosity and confidence, that you will be inspired to integrate the knowledge of the sūtras to guide your journey and teaching. Rachel brings this text alive making it applicable and inspiring your personal practice and teaching.

Through a process of self-inquiry, we will explore the Yoga Sūtras as a mirror to our minds. We will reflect on questions such as-
How can I define the even state of mind that I crave?
What interrupts my mental clarity?
What is the cause of these disturbances?
We will cover major themes from Chapters 1 and 2. Our sessions will be a combination of chanting, reflection, journaling and practice design.

MODULE 5
Mantra yoga

In this module, you will experience toning and projection techniques to build confidence in your voice and communication skills, which are wonderful benefits of chanting. You will tune into your unique voice so you can share and lead with confidence and humility. We will explore the effects and application of sound and mantra in Yoga. You will experience and learn how mantra yoga is an intrinsic part of āsana, prānāyāma and dhārana (meditation). The intention is to build your creativity and, increase your confidence in your voice. We will engage in practice design and explore the application of these techniques with your students in group classes and private sessions. You will practise the seven notes of classical Indian music, explore how to use singing bowls and other percussion instruments, and music as a way of bringing Nāda Yoga as a well-thought-out layer into your Yoga classes, retreats and workshops.

MODULE 6
The nectar of Prānāyāma

Rachel's quest is to share and demystify these important and effective practices of Prāṇāyāma. You will experience an uplifting combination of practice, techniques and the principles of Prāṇāyāma.

You will gain a deeper understanding of the hows and the why’s of Prāṇāyāma so that you can confidently lead specific breath focused classes, and expand this into your current classes and private sessions. You will also refine and expand your ability to design and teach a well thought out and effective Prāṇāyāma practice with a particular energetic effect in mind. We will chant and reflect on Patañjali's Yoga Sūtras, some quotes that guide us in the symbolism, intention and results of prānāyāma from the Haṭha Yoga Pradīpikā, Bhairava Tantra and Bhagavad Gītā.

MODULE 7
Facilitation skills

Exceptional teaching & holding space is more than the capacity to instruct or transfer knowledge.
Learn how to understand and craft experiences for groups that support participants to feel safe, connect with a sense of belonging in the group, and integrate learning through diverse embodied processes. Refine the art of opening circles, closing processes, and grow your confidence in facilitating the heart of what it is you feel called to share.

This playful and creative module provides guided processes for you to dive deeply into new ideas, expand the scope of your teaching & learning, and imagine the possibilities of your Yoga offerings & practice beyond the class format. Previous graduates emerged from this module with richly informed plans for diverse initiatives including retreats; community service programs; international Yoga tours, and specialised workshops. Expect to expand and refine your understanding of why you are the ideal person to offer your own particular gifts and experiences through Yoga.

Why choose Rachel to guide you through this journey?

Rachel has been spending years practising and living this method and is really looking forward to sharing this multidimensional journey of discovery and fulfilment with you.

Rachel has curated this course to include only the most effective teachings and techniques that she has been blessed to receive and experience over her twenty five years of practice. Along with her personal practice which began in her mid twenties, Rachel has been sharing yoga since 2007 and for the last eight plus years she has been leading trainings, international journeys to India and Bali, courses and workshops. CLARE LOVELACE

I believe that by living with respect, love and humility we can create a peaceful world and begin to heal the trauma of this Earth.

I continued to train at Dancing Warrior Yoga for the next 4 years, completing my 500 hour Experienced teaching course within this time. I started teaching in 2014 and have dedicated my life to full-time teaching since then. I have taught at many major studios in Sydney as well as teaching yoga and mindfulness to organisations such as UNICEF and ABC Broadcasting.
I completed my 60 hour Yin teacher training with Sarah Powers in 2015 which changed my life and my practice completely. The practice of Yin, Tibetan Buddhist philosophy and mindfulness meditation gave me the tools to develop an inner ‘genuine happiness’ that was not dependent on other people or external situations.’

TESTIMONIALS

‘Today was the end and the beginning of an amazing journey for me, a journey of self discovery, friendship, love and yoga! So grateful to have not only been able to complete yoga teacher training but to have also stripped back the layers to explore the person I really am, what I want in this life, what resonates with me and learn to embrace the person I truly am wholeheartedly, and be accountable for what I cultivate in my life. On top of that i have met such an amazing community of people who are so authentic, grounding, accepting and real. So much love!!

The life skills and yoga teaching skills I have learnt through this authentic, organic and creditable yoga journey are impactful, resourced and quality tested (by me and so many other amazing students) and the feedback - astonishing! To say that yoga has changed my life is a complete understatement. The gains, insight and knowledge I have embodied inspire me to educate and share all of the layers that yoga really is but most importantly being a way of living and being, a way of living and being that come to me at exactly the right time in my life and will now always be my way of living and being.
My advice is don’t wait for yoga to find you.. go out and find yoga!

If you haven’t experienced being able to attune the mind inward to listen to the body and be present and mindful in each and every day then start right now .. take a class, it’s where the magic begins, and then enrol in a teacher training and that’s where transformation happens! I didn’t enrol I teacher training with the intention to teach but with the intention to deepen my knowledge of the asana and philosophy around yoga. I am now planning my career change to the health and well-being sector and to teach yoga.

I cannot rate Soul Tribe’s teacher training course with Clare, Drew and Matt highly enough, such inspiring and empowering teachers that showed dedication, shared an abundance of knowledge and provided a safe space for learning and growth to all students.
Forever grateful for the journey of self discovery and the added bonus of becoming a yoga teacher all whilst meeting lifelong friends.’ Leah, December 2020

‘Yoga Teacher Training was an experience I wish everyone in the world could experience. It teachers you so much about the beautiful practice yoga and so much about your self on the way.’ - Sheri, December 2020

Theming Through the Chakras

I'm teaching a one day teacher training on Saturday 7th May 11am - 3:30pm 'Theming through the Chakras'.

I'm so excited about this workshop!! It's something I've been thinking about for ages now.

you know that feeling when you take a class and it feels really good? there's a reason why. there's an art to theming & sequencing yoga classes based on the subtle energy system of the chakras.

I've been fortunate about to teach for over 8 years now. That's a lot of yoga classes, a lot of bodies, a lot of learning from experience what works and what doesn't.

I'm so grateful to be able to share this with you in this one day workshop. This is perfect for yoga teachers who are interested in creating exceptional classes, as well as students who want more of an understanding of the chakra system and how to create classes.

We will cover:

- what the chakras actually are (from lots of different traditions and perspectives)

- the shadow aspects of the chakras and how they can show up in our lives

- what deficiency & excess looks like for each chakra

- what postures effect which chakra and why

- how to sequence in an intelligent way using this ancient system

- how to sequence to a peak pose

- how to create meaningful Dharma talks

- how to thread your theme through the class

- how to work with the elements

- how to stay true to your own style and energetic blueprint

see you there!

Bookings essential. Limited to 12 participants for maximum learning potential.

About Clare

Clare, originally from the UK has been living, teaching and running Yin Yoga Trainings in Sydney for the the last three years. Trained by Sarah Powers, she has also trained extensively with Mathew Bergan, Jasmine Tarkeshi and Shiva Rae. Clare is registered at the ERYT350 and RYT500 hour level with Yoga Alliance.

“I believe that yoga does not just take place on the mat but intertwines with every element of our lives. Through my practice I have understood that happiness is not based on external conditions and can be achieved by living simply and mindfully with generosity and compassion. This is a philosophy I want to share with the world.

Yin yoga is the silent revolution that will change the world.”

ABOUT THE COURSE

Are you ready to become your most authentic, loving, peaceful, enthusiastic self?

Our 200 hour teacher training program is an immersion into the science, philosophy, bodywork, movement, breath, self-study and life long learning of YOGA.

We recommend at least one year of regular, dedicated practice to commence this training.

Andrew Dowler presents Anatomy, Physiology and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine).

CLARE LOVELACE (Soul Tribe Studio)
Fundamentally I believe in love. I believe that humans are inherently loving, compassionate, generous and kind. I know that we all have the capacity to open our bodies, minds and hearts and live joyfully. My intention is to facilitate a space where others can be free and learn to fall in love with themselves, each other and the earth." From an early age I have been fascinated by movement, play and the magic of the natural world.

I believe that by living with respect, love and humility we can create a peaceful world and begin to heal the trauma of this Earth.

ANDREW DOWLER (Move Exercise Physiologist)

Andrew describes himself as a lifelong student, a teacher, and a healer, and practices/ teaches a fully integrated approach to health, well being and longevity, based on the principles of Human Movement and the natural cycle of things, or the Tao. Alison Morris (Business & Marketing)

Alison Morris is a successful hypnotherapist and yoga teacher. She owns her own studio in Sylvania Waters NSW where she specialises in helping people with anxiety and depression make changes in their lives. When Alison started her hypnotherapy business in 2017, she had no idea how to market her business and even what she needed to get started.

The common statements and questions she hears now are:

"I need a website before I start"

"I have to get business cards printed"

"I have to do a letterbox drop"

and so many other things....

What if I was to tell you that she did not have a website for 18 months, she did not have a business card for 12 months, she has never done a letterbox drop and she sees over 40 clients a week!

The answer to the above statements is No you do not have to have any of those things to successfully market your business.

In this 2 hour session Alison will teach you the basics of Facebook and Instagram marketing and also what you really need to open your own business.

This teacher training program is presented by Dancing Warrior Yoga, Sydney in collaboration with Soul Tribe Bateman Bay, under the guidance of senior teacher Mathew Bergan.

  • About Clare

Clare, originally from the UK has been living, teaching and running Yin Yoga Trainings in Sydney for the the last three years. Trained by Sarah Powers, she has also trained extensively with Jasmine Tarkeshi and Shiva Rae. Clare is registered at the ERYT350 and RYT500 hour level with Yoga Alliance. Clare currently lives On the South Coast NSW and owns Soul Tribe Yoga studios.

“I believe that yoga does not just take place on the mat but intertwines with every element of our lives. Through my practice I have understood that happiness is not based on external conditions and can be achieved by living simply and mindfully with generosity and compassion. This is a philosophy I want to share with the world.

This takes huge patience, strength and courage and by practicing regularly we become very kind, compassionate, patient and resilient. Yin yoga is the silent revolution that will change the world.”

I am so excited to share with you this 50 hour Yin & Mindfulness teacher training at Soul Tribe Studio, a beautiful light filled studio nestled between the beautiful beaches of the Batemans Bay area, South Coast NSW.

Is this training for me?

Yes if you have completed 200 hour yoga teacher training or higher and you are interested in teaching Yin Yoga and furthering your education.

Yes if you are not a yoga teacher but have a solid grounding in the practice of Yin Yoga (over 1 years consistent practice) and would like to deepen your understanding.

What is Yin?

Yin Yoga is a quiet, receptive practice designed to bring fluidity and flexibility to the physical body, a sense of calm, kindness and resilience to the mental and emotional body and increased awareness and health for the energetic body.

This 5 day immersion and training is designed for anyone who is looking to deepen their general knowledge of Yin Yoga as well as those looking to specialise in teaching Yin Yoga as a one on one experience or in the class setting.

This training blends practical, experiential exercises with anatomy, philosophy, Chinese Medicine theory (taught by Andrew Dowler) and Buddhist theory to provide you with the deepest understanding of both how to practice and guide students through this transformational practice.

Course Practice

My teachings are framed around Purpose, Method and Result. Each teaching will be framed around this.

I believe students learn by 1. hearing the teachings 2. practising the teachings 3. embodying the teachings.

Each day you will have equal amounts of 1. hearing the teachings (via a more traditional lecture style learning environment), 2. practising the teachings (time for quiet, reflective meditation and yin practice for you to integrate the work and put yourselves in your students bodies/minds) 3. embodying the teachings – practical teaching time to allow the learning to integrate in a tangible way. All teachings will have benefits on a physical, mental, emotional, energetic and interpersonal level and this will be explored each time.

ABOUT THE COURSE

Are you ready to become your most authentic, loving, peaceful, enthusiastic self? Our 200 hour teacher training program is an immersion into the science, philosophy, bodywork, movement, breath, self-study and lifelong learning of YOGA. Prepare for 3 months of transformational learning that will change your life.

The yogic path creates a vehicle for self- transformation and insight through heart based learning, intuition, mind training and interpersonal relationships.

We recommend at least one year of regular, dedicated practice to commence this training.

Email hello@clarelovelace.com for an information pack and an application form or call Clare on 0447617619.

This teacher training course is recognised Nationally and Internationally by Yoga Alliance Australia and Yoga Australia.
