The New Moon brings the energy of new beginnings, new directions, opportunities, intentions and to call in what we desire, who and where we want to be, guiding us forward on our path with endless possibilities of what we can create and bring into our lives.
Rituals and practices allow us to be intentional and connected to what is most sacred and valued in our lives, honouring that which is greater than ourselves, as well as feeling more content, centred and at ease.
Self rituals are wonderful, and also having collective rituals with our united energy in a space together can be even more potent, powerful and transformative.
Each month we’ll gather on the New Moon and join our voices in the healing practice of chanting. We’ll be chanting 108 rounds of a mantra honouring Lakshmi, the Goddess of abundance and prosperity.
This New Moon energy is a good time for calling upon Lakshmi. Through collective mantra, evoking a sense of abundance (whatever that means and looks like for you in your life), brings into our awareness when we’re coming from a space of “lack” or “not enough-ness”.
Goddess Lakshmi reminds us that we are enough, whole and NOT lacking anything.
This mantra fills our hearts with love, brings about a state of joy and connection, and inspires us to embody abundance.
There’s a significance to the number “108” in Yoga and Hinduism. 108 is considered a sacred number which we’ll briefly talk about at the start of the practice.
This is a safe, inclusive, non-judgmental space. Whatever you believe in, whether it’s a higher source, the universe, nature, yoga, love or something else, we can offer our prayer through mantra to that place of higher connection.
No experience is necessary - just a willingness to open your heart and mind.
These sessions are an opportunity to slow down and create space for community ritual in your life, and will bring you back to your peaceful, calm and spacious self.
I can’t wait to co-create this experience with you!
